Responsible Development

Boca Raton continues to grow, and development must reflect the character and expectations of the people who live here. I believe responsible development begins with open communication, transparency, and meaningful collaboration with residents.

This includes listening to neighborhoods, understanding how new projects impact quality of life, and ensuring that changes align with the long-term vision residents have for Boca Raton. The goal is to balance progress with the community’s desire to preserve its small-town charm, protect neighborhood integrity, and maintain the coastal character that makes Boca unique.

Traffic & Mobility

Traffic affects daily life, business operations, and the overall experience of moving around the city. I support working closely with Palm Beach County, Broward County, and regional partners to modernize traffic management.

This includes exploring the use of advanced technologies and smart-signal systems that help improve traffic flow, reduce delays, and make intersections safer. Coordination across city and county lines is essential for creating a more efficient network. I also support continued evaluation of golf cart, pedestrian, bicycle, and multimodal improvements to help residents move comfortably and safely throughout Boca Raton.

Public Safety

Public safety is a core responsibility of local government. I support providing Boca Raton’s police officers, firefighters, and first responders with the resources, equipment, and staffing necessary to keep the community secure.

This includes maintaining strong partnerships between public safety agencies and neighborhoods, supporting training and readiness initiatives, and ensuring that first responders have what they need to protect residents and respond quickly in emergencies.

A safe community is the foundation for a strong and thriving Boca Raton.

Infrastructure and Flooding

Recent storms have shown how vulnerable parts of Boca Raton can be to heavy rainfall and rising water. I believe that maintaining strong, resilient infrastructure is essential to protecting homes, businesses, and public spaces.

This includes reviewing the city’s stormwater systems, identifying areas where drainage needs improvement, and ensuring that maintenance schedules keep critical infrastructure clear and functional. I support exploring long-term solutions such as improved pump systems, upgraded drainage capacity, and modernized modeling tools to better predict and manage flood-prone areas.

Coordinating with regional partners is also important, since water flow and drainage often cross city boundaries. The goal is to strengthen Boca Raton’s ability to handle future storms, reduce property damage, and keep residents safe.
